 Dr. Belle Calkin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. 

With years of experience and dedication to her field, Dr. Calkin has made significant contributions to the understanding and assessment of conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), specific learning disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Her expertise has helped countless individuals and families navigate the complex landscape of neurodevelopmental disorders, providing them with accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment strategies.  

She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (MA) at California State University, Northridge, where she developed a strong foundation in assessment and clinical practices. Driven by the desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by neurodevelopmental disorders, she went on to pursue her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, focusing her training on neuropsychology and development. Dr. Calkin has received training at various private practices, outpatient facilities, and completed a predoctoral internship at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Calkin graduated with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology. 

Dr. Calkin's collaborative nature has led her to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech-language pathologists, neuropsychologists, occupational therapists, and educators. These experiences enables her to provide comprehensive evaluations and make evidence-based recommendations tailored to each individual's needs.  

At Clarity Psychological, Dr. Calkin prioritizes individualized treatment plans, tailoring her approach to meet each patient's unique needs. Her holistic view of neurodevelopmental disorders allows her to integrate various therapeutic modalities and adapt her strategies as the field continues to evolve.  

Dr. Belle Calkin's extensive experience extends beyond neurodevelopmental disorders to encompass a wide range of specialties, including behavioral therapy, social skills training, animal-assisted therapy, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
